About Lucid Dreams Photography | Jeff Maltzman

An ophthalmologist by training, I spend my days peering into the depths of the human eye, studying the complexity of this little world within.  Photography gives me the opportunity to turn my lens in the other direction, to explore the world beyond.

A lucid dream is one in which the dreamer is aware of and able to participate in the dream.  The time I spend exploring and photographing our natural world, attempting to capture its tremendous beauty, is my dream.  And, other than time spent with my wonderful and incredibly understanding family, these moments are my most lucid.
